Dallas had the advantage, because the taxes in Quebec are what they are and Texas is the best tax situation in the NHL
Well, I know Florida has no income tax. Hard to beat that. |

Hey Ek, how are talks between habs and kings? Do you think if the trade happen, it will change habs interest in Jagr? |

He was only 2 points behind Art Ross winner Joe Thornton his first full year. Top 10 his next year. He dropped off a bit in his third. In those 3 years, he was top 10 in points scored, the names ahead of him include Joe Thornton (when he was consistent), Crosby, Ovi, etc. |

Still ongoing. Very secretive. Montreal definitely playing a few angles here. |

As I said a few days ago in another thread, maybe someone will back me up, Jagr has got to be the biggest mercenary in the league. They are all in it for the money, but he is way over the top. You've got maybe 1 good year left, play for a contender and try to win a cup! You really need the money that bad to sign with whoever pays the most. At least maybe we won't hear as much "spin" now when he signs with Carolina or the Oilers or something about how he signed there to mentor the young kids. Money money money |

Green for Gio, pick.
Take it, take it, take it. He's a Calgary boy, I think. |

He was surely mediocre with us. It's funny though, he still was over a PPG with the Caps, but it's considered mediocre because he was expected to put 120 points. |

He won the Pearson in 2005-06, and was runner-up for the Art Ross and Hart Trophies. |

If Jagr signed in Montreal, would he be considered their power forward and/or fighter? |
